SCARLET WATERS

With SCARLET WATERS, Twitchy Dolphin terrifies with a compilation of four horror shorts; including SCORNED, winner of Best Special FX at the 2008 San Antonio Horrific Film Fest.

SCORNED shows the downfall of a family through lies, deceit, and infidelity as Sara watches her family torn apart by David's cheating. In attempt to save her family, she makes a deal with an old friend that threatens her very life.

WRITER'S BLOCK is the story of Melissa who is struggling with her screenplay. Facing a deadline, she can't seem to focus her plot, premise, or characters. But, as her script starts to take shape, so too does the crime in her story — all too close to home.

DETOUR, chronicles a creature who stalks a small town, feeding off lawbreakers. After killing all the murderers, drug dealers, and rapists, the creature turns to violators of the smallest, most innocuous laws. Now Joanne, stranded alone, must negotiate her way to safety.

VAMPRESS tells of a young woman bitten, haunted, and pursued by a night stalker. In a film described as "hauntingly erotic," Victoria lay helpless as her boyfriend and doctor battle a vampire for her life and her soul.

Littlefield DVD Cover

LITTLEFIELD

LITTLEFIELD began shooting in Spring 2007 as a University of Texas student project for writer/director James Christopher and cinematographer Chris Copple; but it became the impetus for creating Twitchy Dolphin Flix. Christopher and Copple had already worked on several projects together, culminating in this first attempt at a feature-length film. As it became clear LITTLEFIELD filming would wrap successfully, they were convinced they wanted to continue making movies together. So they set out to create their own independent production company with co-founders Jessica Bybee-Dziedzic and Nathan Bybee. Twitchy Dolphin Flix was officially born just in time to release LITTLEFIELD with a premier screening at Austin's Firehouse Lounge on February 21, 2008.

Through the close-knit lives of a group of college friends, LITTLEFIELD presents an honest look at the first time you win...and lose...in love.
