After a year in the making, we are delighted to invite everyone to the World Premiere of FUNNY BOOKS, the second feature film from Twitchy Dolphin Flix.

Gather all your friends and join us for a beach trip and an evening of hilarious fun at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 in beautiful downtown Corpus Christi, Texas at the:

HARBOR PLAYHOUSE
#1 Bayfront Park  (Map)

FUNNY BOOKS is a comedy, lovingly told by comic fans for comic fans and non-fans alike, about an unassuming dreamer named Wally who finds himself, and true love, while juggling a nefarious boss, a manipulative girlfriend, and a universe of elitist fanboys and eccentric characters at the friendly neighborhood comic store.

Order tickets now for only $5.00 or call the box office at (361) 888-7469

PREMIERE DAY THINGS TO DO

Saturday's premiere comes on the one-year anniversary of wrapping the FUNNY BOOKS shoot with a final scene on Corpus Christi's North Beach with the USS Lexington visible in the background. So, to celebrate it's debut and interact with fans, we have planned an action-packed series of events around Corpus for April 18.

Noon to 2:00 — Head to COLLECTOR'S PLANET at 3517 S. Staples for an autograph session to pick up an official FUNNY BOOKS movie poster and have it signed by the stars.

6:00 to 7:30 — Mingle with cast and crew at the HARBOR PLAYHOUSE before the show. Beer and wine will be available along with other concessions. There's even a raffle of great prizes including an exclusive advance copy of the FUNNY BOOKS DVD.

7:30 to 9:30 — After a year in the making, FUNNY BOOKS hits the big-screen!

9:30 to 10:00 — Ask the writer/director and several stars all your questions about FUNNY BOOKS or the movie-making process during a filmmaker Q&A session.

10:00 to ??:?? — Follow cast and crew over to the nearby Executive Surf Club at 309 N. Water Street for a Twitchy after-party at one of the hottest spots in Corpus. Our friends at the Surf Club have even offered ONE FREE DRINK if you show your premiere ticket!

NEED A PLACE TO STAY?

The Holiday Inn Emerald Beach had been holding a block of rooms for us but it is now sold out. In fact Twitchy fans booked an amazing 50% more rooms than we had originally requested!!! We couldn't be happier with the response and owe the Holiday Inn a special debt of gratitude for being so accommodating.

There are many other fine hotels in the downtown area if you still haven't reserved a spot:

We would also like to thank the following businesses for their generous support of the FUNNY BOOKS premiere: Collector's Planet, Executive Surf Club, House of Rock, and the Law Offices of Joe Turner.
