New FUNNY BOOKS screenings set for Austin and San Antonio

After a wildly successful premiere in Corpus Christi, Twitchy Dolphin Flix proudly announces the next two screenings of FUNNY BOOKS.

First, on Friday, June 26, FUNNY BOOKS will screen in Austin, Texas for the first time. The theater at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex will host the screening at 8:00 p.m. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. After the screening, get to know the cast and crew during a filmmaker Q&A. The Millennium Theater is located at 1156 Hargrave St., Austin, Texas 78702. Check back soon for more information on the screening, including sponsors and online ticketing.

Then, on Saturday, August 15, we're taking FUNNY BOOKS back on the road to screen at the Alamo Drafthouse: Westlakes in San Antonio, Texas — hometown of our marketing director Jessica Bybee-Dziedzic, her brother and CEO Nathan Bybee, and FUNNY BOOKS star Erin Larson. The Alamo Drafthouse: Westlakes is located at 1255 SW Loop 410 in San Antonio.

Visit twitchydolphin.com or our Facebook group throughout the summer for more details and ticketing information.

And remember...it is imperative that these comics be touched by as few human hands as possible.

Twitchy Dolphin's second feature film release FUNNY BOOKS is a comedy, lovingly told by comic fans for comic fans and non-fans alike, about an unassuming dreamer named Wally who finds himself, and true love, while juggling a nefarious boss, a manipulative girlfriend, and a universe of elitist fanboys and eccentric characters at the friendly neighborhood comic store. The film is appropriate for viewers 17 and up.
