First, we will wrap shooting of our fourth feature film entitled LOOK AT ME AGAIN. It's an intense and emotional drama that chronicles the challenges of marriage and questions exactly how much can a relationship take and still survive. It's also a major technological step forward for Twitchy Dolphin Flix. We've been shooting in HD since our second feature FUNNY BOOKS, but we added a 35mm lens adapter for LOOK AT ME AGAIN that gives the picture a far more dramatic tone.

The first preview for LOOK AT ME AGAIN will hit the big screen at our next big news event, the San Antonio screening of the hilarious comedy FUNNY BOOKS at the Alamo Drafthouse: Westlakes on Saturday, August 15. This will also be the official public release of FUNNY BOOKS on DVD. Better still, your $5.00 ticket can pay for itself as we'll be offering the DVDs for the discounted price of only $10.00 as a special thank you to all who attend. Also at the Alamo Drafthouse: Westlakes later in August, Twitchy Dolphin's short film VAMPRESS will be competing for Best Short and Best Special F/X as an official selection in the San Antonio Horrific Film Fest set for August 27-30, 2009. VAMPRESS is a sexy, hip vampire movie with a decidedly modern feel while staying true to past cinematic vampire classics.

VAMPRESS is available now on DVD at Amazon.com as part of our first SCARLET WATERS collection of horror shorts. SCARLET WATERS came about last Halloween as a vehicle for us to release our short SCORNED which won Best Special F/X at the 2008 San Antonio Horrific Film Fest. We had such a great time with the whole concept that we decided to make it an annual event.

So, in the midst of everything else going on, August will also see shooting wrap on the second and third horror short for this year's collection. Twitchy Dolphin creative director Chris Copple's GAR will look at the influence music can have on violence in society. In keeping with another SCARLET WATERS tradition, guest writer and director Jimmy Donovan will offer up his latest called GHOST GRABBERS. The month will also see the beginning of production on the fourth short in the collection FREAKY FRIDAY XIII, co-directed by James Christopher and William Cooper.

This year's SCARLET WATERS collection will focus on gut wrenching, bone breaking -- comedy, as seen in the preview for the first short we already completed called WEREBITCHES, which tells the story of female werewolves driven to mortal combat over an overweight comic book clerk. Not only can the WEREBITCHES preview be seen as part of the FUNNY BOOKS programming on August 15, but the trailer itself will also compete in the trailer competition at the San Antonio Horrific Film Fest.
